Last Week: What is the official name of the “Mall’s Balls” in Rundle Mall?
Answer: The Spheres

The Spheres, commonly known as the “Mall’s Balls,” is a prominent sculpture in Adelaide’s Rundle Mall, installed in 1977. Created by Austrian artist Bert Flugelman, it features two large, polished stainless steel spheres stacked vertically, reflecting the bustling environment. The abstract design initially stirred debate among locals for its modernist aesthetic but has since become an iconic landmark and popular meeting point.
